He was predeceased by: his parents, Clare Lilly and Dorothy Lilly; his siblings, Judy Broderson and Russell Lilly; and his nephew John Wolfe.

He is survived by: his wife LaVonne Konken; his daughters, Sherri of Hartford, Jennifer (Aubrey) of Athens, TX and Kara (Jeremy) of Sioux Falls; his grandchildren, Taylor, Abby, Savannah, Kaylee, Kolby (Felicity), Aiden and Kadyn; his great grandchild Elijah; and his sisters, Mary Smith of West Fargo, ND and Vicki Wolfe of Park Rapids, MN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
