He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Zimmerman and Wilda Zimmerman; his son-in-law Lonny Lee; his siblings, Glen, Jim and Carol Nielsen; and his sisters-in-law, Linda, Kathy and Lorraine.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his children, Bud Zimmerman (Tammy) and Shelly Lee (Travis Blakey); and his siblings, Lucy Hoeffs (Stanley), Mary Novak (Laddie), Barb Yosten (Clyde), Joan Nelsen (Bob), Ronnie, Steven, Jerry, David and Daryl. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
