He is survived by: his wife Vickie Thon; his children, Kelly (Yankton), Jennifer of Mankato, MN and Elizabeth Thon (Mankato); his granddaughter Katrina Thon; his brother Patrick Thon; and his siblings-in-law, Ellen Thon, Verna Thon, Lyle and Karen Ness. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
