It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael G. Nelson of Yankton, South Dakota, born in North Platte, Nebraska, who passed away on June 17, 2024, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Tracie Nilges; his sister Marcia McCall; and his grandparents, Albert, Edna Echtenkamp, Carl and Helen Nelson.
He is survived by: his parents, Gary Nelson and Vernell Nelson (Echtenkamp) of Wayne; his daughter Amber Roeber (Matt) of Wayne; his grandchildren, Ruger, Kimber and Roeber; his children, Taylor Nelson of Fremont and Zach Nelson (Myah) of Fremont; his grandchildren, Lilyana and Delilah; and his close friend Shannon Green.
