We are sad to announce that on December 22, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Mary Sathe of Yankton, South Dakota, born in Sioux City, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gust Portaleos and Maude Portaleos (Rolle); her husband Allan Sathe; and her siblings, Elaine Nielson, Dan and Nick Portaleos.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeff Sathe (Elaine) of Germantown, Wisconsin, Jack Sathe (Kodi) of Caldwell, Idaho and Jay Sathe (Wendi) of Yankton; her grandchildren, Jacob (Kate), Justin (Ali), Cyndal (Colt), Oshay, Collin, Robbie, Hayden, Mary Carole and David (Jayme); and her great grandchildren, Alaya of Myla, TJ, Collin, Kaisley and Kyson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Even during COVID, children would facetime with Mary so she could listen to them read.
