She was predeceased by: her parents, Randolph Jacobsen and Alice Jacobsen (Petran); her husband James Engen; her grandchildren, Michael, Austin and Natalie Engen; and her siblings, Bill Jacobsen (Kay), Marge Berke (Jim), Jack Jacobsen, Janice Powell (John), Sue Good and Becky Thunker.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Zachary Engen, Jayden Engen, Ethan Engen, Carson Engen, Matthew Buckman, Sarah Buckman and Meghan Buckman; her children, Chuck Engen (Ann) of Volin and Beth Buckman (Kent) of Gayville; her great grandchildren, Maverick and Miles; her brothers, Tom Jacobsen (Jean) of Fayetteville and Steve Jacobsen (Chris) of Yankton; and her siblings-in-law, Terry Thunker, Larry Good and Pam Jacobsen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
