She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Smith and Lillian Smith (Lindemann) of Hartington Nebraska; and her siblings, Yvonne Walsh and Lee Smith. She is survived by: her husband Gary; her daughter Shelly Pedersen (Gerald) of Yankton; her grandchildren, Holly Pedersen (Travis Schultz), Zack Pedersen (Brandi) and Liz Schenkel (Derek); her great grandchildren, Tanner of Yankton, Kenzie Pedersen of Yankton, Garret of Yankton, Charlie of Yankton and Tommy Schultz of Yankton; and her sister Nicki Strauch (Mike). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
