As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Leonard Roy may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Christensen and Vlasta Christensen; and his sister Sharon Kleinschmidt. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, James, Crystal, Mandy and P. J.; his children-in-law, Ally Christensen and Lincoln Brannick; his grandson Rowan Christensen; and his close friend Steve Obr.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home & Crematory (601 W 21st St, Yankton, SD 57078). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
