He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Schurman and Rose Schurman (Marx) of Wynot, NE.; his wife Gloria Ann Kapfenstein; and his siblings, Wilfred, Paul Jr., Jim, Norman Schurman Sr., Dolores Foxhoven and Romaine Veltkamp.

He is survived by: his daughter Rebecca Feilmeier (Jayson) of Tamai; and his grandchildren, Kyle Feilmeier of Tucson, Adrienne and Sierra Feilmeier of Tamai. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
