She is survived by : her husband Stanley Schaeffer; her children, Renee Harter (Dan) of Minatare, NE, Robin Nelson (Clint) of Colome, SD, David Schaeffer (Katie) of Yankton, SD and Sarah Tucker (Bradon Richardson) of Cleora, OK; her grandchildren, Dalton Harter (Baillie), Daci Harter, Dani Harter (Kalvin Perry), Lilly Nelson (Christian Postma), Ryder Nelson, Anjeliena, Sawyer, Nicholas, Oliver, Kinleigh, Sloane Schaeffer and Dalani Tucker (Bryan Le); her brother Chris Bauder of Tyndall, SD; and her siblings-in-law, Violet Schaeffer, Lucille, Joe Hofer and Earl Nysven. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 10:00 AM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Goglin Funeral Home - Yankton (807 31st St, Yankton, SD 57078). A prayer was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Saron Reformed Cemetery (43601 292nd St, Menno, SD 57045).
