She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Hitchman and Mary Hitchman (Sip); her former husband Tom Sargent; her daughter-in-law Sheila Sargent; and her sister Darlene Webb.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis Giese of Yankton; her sons, Wayne Sargent (Denise) of Fargo and Wade Sargent of Yankton; her grandchildren, Tyler Sargent (Amanda) and Tessa Gillson (Eric); and her great grandchildren, Alizabeth, Zayne Sargent, Kendra, Mackenzie and Brock Gillson. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
