James Mueller Obituary
With solemn reverence, we commemorate James Mueller of Yankton, South Dakota, whose life came to an end on March 31, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Mueller and Thekla Mueller (Gemeinhardt); his wife Mona; and his siblings, Ken, Wes, Don, Jerry Mueller and Eileen Mueller.
He is survived by: his sons, David Mueller of Yankton, Richard Mueller (Jill) of Alliance, NE and Brian Mueller (Gwen) of Columbia, SC; his grandchildren, Amanda Sharpe (Randy), Kimberly Furry (Grant) and Joshua Mueller (Kim); his great grandchildren, Theodore, Piper Furry, Ricky, Rylee and Rooster Sharpe; and his brother-in-law Jerry Mueller (Audrey). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A prayer was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Wintz & Ray Funeral Home (2901 Douglas Ave, Yankton, SD 57078). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (1009 Jackson St, Yankton, SD 57078).
