With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gloria Mae Gilson of Yankton, South Dakota, born in Troy, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 16, 2024 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Newland Reeves and Florence Reeves (Oden); her husband Richard; her grandsons, Charles Henry Gilson III and Jonathan Gilson; her siblings, Howard Reeves and Etta Lucille Lamm; and her siblings-in-law, Frances Burkett (Rolly), Eileen Davidson (B. H.) and Cletus Buschelman.
She is survived by: her children, Chuck Gilson (Charlii) of Yankton, Junior Gilson of Yankton, Gloria Diana Deibert (Jim) of Charleston and Sherwin Dean "PeeWee" Gilson (Trudy) of Jacksonville, Florida; and her sister-in-law Mary Jane Buschelman. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; three step grandchildren; five step great grandchildren.
