He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernan Kressig and Geneva Kressig (Whitehorn); his aunt Flora Hassman; and his grandchildren, Jeffrey Becker and Kaitlyn Erickson.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Kressig of Yankton; his stepchildren, Lisa Erickson (Tony) of Yankton, Mark Jurrens (Mischelle) of Sioux Falls, Lynn Tally of Yankton and Mike Jurrens (Lacey Bahm) of Yankton; and his brother Jim Kressig of Hartington, Nebraska.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kaitlyn Ann Erickson Scholarship fund given each year to two graduating Yankton high school seniors, at 2410 City Limits Road, Yankton, SD 57078 or The Titan Foundation who help send children fighting cancer to Camp Bring It On and support them during their fight against cancer.
