With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of DelRae Dickes of Yankton, South Dakota, born in Fordyce, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 27, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton "Tony" Weinandt and Regina Weinandt (Boeckman); her husband Donavan Dickes; her stepmother Evelyn Weinandt; her siblings, Dee Weinandt, Gerard Weinandt, Vi Atchison and Maurita Diehl; and her half-sister Opal Smith.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Christopher Dickes, Matt Arend, Nathan Dickes, Patrick Dickes, Eddie Dickes, Jeremy Arend, Michael Dickes, Charlie Dickes, Amy Westering, Sarah Zuk, Julie Mruz, Amanda Preisler, Erin Dickes, Danielle Birch and Kristina Erickson; her children, David Dickes (Marcene) of Yankton, Deb Arend (Paul) of Ankeny, Iowa, Dan Dickes (Bev) of Sioux Falls and Donna Wagner (Steve) of Sioux Falls; and her sister-in-law Dottie Weinandt of Yankton.
