We are sad to announce that on September 17, 2023, at the age of 89, Delores Margaret Nelson of Yankton, South Dakota, born in Lesterville, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Gall and Johanna Gall (Auch); her husband Luverne Christian Nelson; her grandson Garret Nelson; and her siblings, Ray, Richard, John, Aldon, Clifford Gall and Olive Wollman.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Nelson (Patricia) of Yankton, Deanna Shepherd (James) of Waldport, Oregon, Teresa Nelson (Richard Wordeman) of Creswell, Oregon and Mark Nelson (Lisa) of Sioux Falls; her grandchildren, Shannon Lillevold (John), Jacqueline Brown (Tacoma), Matthew Shepherd (Hannah), Brianna, Jessie and Alyssa Wordeman; her stepgrandchildren, Jeff Wordeman (Lisa) and Kylee Couroyer (Owen); and her siblings, Marvin Gall of Lake Andes, Emil Gall of Columbia, Eileen McIntyre of Las Vegas and Marjorie Novak of Mitchell. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
