He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed and Milly; and his siblings, Jim of Coleridge, NE and Patsy of Bremmerton, WA.. He is survived by: his son Chris; his daughters-in-law, Cary, Stephanie, Deb and Anne; his wife Judy; his sons, Michael (Cary) of Gilbert, AZ and Christopher (Stephanie) of Yankton; his grandchild Taylor Lax (Nate); his great grandchild Eden of Brandon, SD; his grandchild Whitney (Jeremiah) of Sioux Falls, SD; his son Daniel (Debra) of Yankton; his grandchild Jayna Silvernail (Cody); his great grandchild Quinn; his sons, Maverick, Beckett of Brandon, SD, Regan (Zach) of Sioux Falls, SD, Cameryn (Ben) of St. Louis, MO and Patrick (Anne) of Omaha, NE; his grandchildren, Riley, Graceanne and Sarah of Omaha; and his sister-in-law Beverly Specht of Coleridge, NE. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Sacred Heart Parish, Dean and Judy Specht Scholarship at Mount Marty University, or Avera Long Term Care and Hospice.
