He is survived by: his children, Shelly Schenkel (Mark Nelson) of Sioux Falls, SD and Ken Thomsen of Denver, CO.; his grandchildren, Dillon Schenkel (Kristin Cleverdon-Schenkel) of Meridian, ID and Allie Schenkel; and his siblings, Dennis Thomsen (Amy Thomsen) of Boise, ID, Dale Thomsen (Skye Thomsen) of DeSmet, SD and Judy Olson (Brad Olson) of Montevideo, MN.
