He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Tessier and Lydia Tessier (Mutchler); his son Todd Tessier; and his siblings, Dorothy Schoepp, Darrell and Richard Tessier.
He is survived by: his wife LaVila Tessier of Yankton; his daughter Tara Lansman (Howard) of Harlan, Iowa; his daughter-in-law Suzanne Tessier of Yankton; his grandchildren, Luke Lansman (Kaitlyn), Seth Lansman (Katrina), Morgan Tessier (Alasyn Barwick), Trey Lansman (Jenn), Will Lansman (Jess) and Madason Leif (Ethan); and his great grandchildren, Sidney, Jase, Miles, Ellery, Lauren and Lainey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (2407 Broadway Ave, Yankton, SD 57078). A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to SD Fellowship of Christian Athletes, SD Habitat for Humanity, or a charity of your choice.
