The memory of Connie Zimmerman of Yankton, South Dakota, who passed away on April 10, 2025 at the age of 84, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Trenhaile and Evelyn Trenhaile (Buesing); her husband Kenneth Zimmerman; her son-in-law Woodrow Liley Jr.; her in-laws, Richard Trenhaile (Darlene), Betty Ketelsen (Harold), Tom Trenhaile, Richard Schneider and Duane Wiese; and her great grandchild Gracen Turack.
She is survived by: her children, Lori Liley of Yankton, Robert Zimmerman (Laura Gillman) of Fordyce, Nebraska and Brian Zimmerman (Teresa) of Mooresville; her grandchildren, Josie Zimmerman, Jack Zimmerman, Caleb Zimmerman, Allissa Turack (Daniel) and Leah Zimmerman; her great grandchildren, Zoey Hope and Eli Kenneth; her siblings, Bernice Schneider of Bloomfield, Jack Trenhaile (Diane) of Newberg, Oregon, Dale Trenhaile (Linda) of Yankton, Janet Wiese of Yankton and Steve Trenhaile (Gail Lane) of Rustburg, Virginia; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Trenhaile of Bloomfield and Charlotte Walter (Leroy) of Crofton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wintz & Ray Funeral Home (2901 Douglas Ave, Yankton, SD 57078). A prayer was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church - Yankton (403 Broadway Ave, Yankton, SD 57078).
