It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cloyd Conroy of Yankton, South Dakota, born in Shelton, Nebraska, who passed away on February 24, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Conroy and Marie Conroy (Crawford); his brother William (Georgia Conroy); his sons, Timothy, Scott and Thomas; and his grandson Patrick Conroy.
He is survived by: his wife Leota M. Conroy (Owens); and his children, Cynthia (Jerry Novacek) of Olathe, KS, Russell (Mary Conroy) of Springfield, MO, Alan (Julie Conroy) of Topeka, KS and Dr. Christine (Jem Hof) of Yankton, SD. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Joe's honor to either St. Agnes Parish (Vermillion, SD) or the Tim Conroy Memorial Endowment Fund at Mount Marty University (Yankton, SD).
