It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Burdette Maxine Meyer of Yankton, South Dakota, who passed away on July 18, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred William Hein and Magdalena Emma Hein (Kowalke); her husband Bob of Alpena, SD; her son-in-law Mike Bartunek; her grandson Zach Bartunek; and her siblings, Helen Palmer, Lila Morse, William, Vern and Richard Hein.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Lichter (John) of Yankton, SD and Laura Bartunek of Yankton, SD; her granddaughter Sarah Smit of Fargo, ND; her daughters, Melissa Kohlts (Michael) of Duluth, MN and Abby Reynolds (Tom) of Yankton; her great grandchildren, Trevor, Lydia, Falon, Jack and Oakley; her sister Esther Ross of Sioux Falls, SD; and her sister-in-law Lonabelle Hein of Huron, SD. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
