She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Larson and Minnie Larson (Peterson); her husband Nels Nelsen; her son Doug; her grandson Jeremy; and her sisters, Shirley, Frances, Millie and Ilene.
She is survived by: her son Dennis Nelsen (Connie) of Vermillion; her grandchildren, Stacey Vasquez of Las Vegas and Courtney Merkwan (Carson) of Vermillion; and her great grandchildren, Edison Vasquez, Gary, Blair and Grant Merkwan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
