Alice Drotzmann Obituary
In loving memory of Alice Drotzmann of Yankton, South Dakota, who departed this world on January 21, 2025 at the age of 95. Alice leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brothers, Dennis, John (Virginia) and Roman Drotzmann (Frances); her brother-in-law Mark Kathol; and her great-nephew Bobby Drotzmann.
She is survived by: her siblings, Mary Ann Kathol of Yankton, Joe Drotzmann (Dorothy) of Ellensburg, WA and Harold Drotzmann (Mary); and her sisters-in-law, Mildred Zimmerman of Yankton and Cecelia Sorenson of Yankton. She is also survived by 30 nieces and nephews; 64 great nieces and great nephews; and 55 great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A vigil service will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Wintz & Ray Funeral Home – Yankton (2901 Douglas Ave, Yankton, SD 57078). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Benedict Catholic Church (1500 St Benedict Dr, Yankton, SD 57078).
In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials may be directed to Ability Building Services, 909 W. 23rd St, Yankton, SD; Sacred Heart Catholic Church Building Fund, 509 Capital St., Yankton, SD; The Center, 900 Whiting Dr., Yankton, SD; or a charity of your choice.
