With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ormalyn Boetel (Yale, South Dakota), who passed away on January 25, 2019 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Oleson and Gladys Oleson (Tolman); her spouse Gerhard Boetel; her brother Orwin; her grandchild Sherry Boetel; her sister-in-law Inez Oleson; and her son-in-law Robert Wayne Hubbard.
She is survived by: her children, Bennie (Judy) of Cavour, Raymond of Rapid City, Kenneth (Beckie) of Rapid City, Deanna Lovett of Sioux Falls, Merolyn Olsen (Warren) of Viborg, Marlene Olmstead (Garry) of Iroquois and Maureen Decker (Dennis) of Yale; her grandchildren, Doug Hubbard (Janet), David Hubbard, Daniel Hubbard (Kristi), Scott Boetel (Angie), Tim Salter (Rebecca), Brian Salter (Teresa), Jamie Salter, Jessica Kuemper (Rob), Anisha Boetel (Gavin Trom), Melissa Wallace (Alan), Lori Holst (Mike), Jodi Richter (Paul), Chad Wilde, Chasity Marcus (Adam), Heather Morris (Miguel), Mallory Wilde, Jeannie Keating (Mike), Jennifer Decker, Stacy Decker (Kristi), Casey Decker (Danyel), Shawn Olsen (Kathy), Lisa Stapert (Jason), Amy Johnson (Chad) and Terra Kettwig (Kelly Goehring); her brother Quentin Oleson of Sioux Falls; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Oleson of Sioux Falls. She is also survived by 47 great grandchildren, 14 step great grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren, and 10 great-great step grandchildren.
