With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Hofer of Yale, South Dakota, born in Huron, South Dakota, who passed away on July 19, 2022 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, ElRoy Maas and Evelyn Maas (Wipf); her husband Richard Hofer; her daughter SueAnn; and her sister Norma Nelson.
She is survived by: her children, Jamie Hofer (Amy) of Huron and Julie Duncan (Alan) of Parker; her grandchildren, Ashley Olson (Brad), Brock Duncan (Megan Mori), Andrea Duncan (Travis DeJong), Cauy Hofer (Randi), Cassie Hofer, Kali Hofer and Ellie Hofer; her great grandchildren, Harlan, Corinne, Grady Olson and Everley DeJong; and her siblings, William Maas (Pam) of Iroquois, Shirley Tschetter of Huron, Marilyn Mitzel of Yale and Sharon Korkow (Roger) of Cavour. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
