It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brant Delane Good Lance (Wounded Knee, South Dakota), born in Gordon, Nebraska, who passed away on April 8, 2023, at the age of 45, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Anthony "Lucky Pete" Pete Good Lance; his aunts, Yvette "Boo" Marrow Bone and Kathy Elk; his siblings, Jorma Blindman and Tara Blindman; his grandparents, Gertrude Thunder Horse, Barb, Irene Black Elk, Paul Thunder Horse, Tim Thunder Horse, Robert Thunder Horse, Sr. and Homer Black Elk; his great-grandparent Abel Good Lance; his cousins, Derek Marrow Bone, Robert Marrow Bone and Chantz High Hawk; and his uncles, Emerson Lloyd Elk, Nathan Elk, Jerry Elk, Steve Black Elk, Timothy Romero and Timothy Thunder Horse, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Antonia M. Good Lance, Santino A. Good Lance and Brant Delane Good Lance, Jr.; his stepchildren, Shayeena Fast Horse, Averia Fast Horse, Gabe Blindman and Ozuye Blindman; his siblings, Myles Marshall, Ginger Good Lance, Dana Good Lance, Berdell Shott, Jr. and Tia Shott; and his pets, Angelo Mills, Erlund Black Elk, Honorary, Santino Good Lance, Brant D. Good Lance, Jr., Berdell Shott, Jr., Myles Marshall, Lloyd Elk, Tawapaha Elk, Jeff Elk, Mike Thunder Horse, Gabriel P. Fast Horse, Jr. and Hoksila White Magpie. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren.
