With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Bernita Manke of Woonsocket, South Dakota, who passed away on December 4, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Carl Schwemle and Blanche Schwemle (Fouberg); her children, Janet Manke of Forestburg, SD, Joyce Harker (Richard) of Columbus, IN and Kevin Manke of Mitchell, SD.; her grandchildren, Jennifer Franks (Lee) of Branson, MO, Brian Harker of Columbus, IN, Ginger Manke of Forestburg, SD and Joe Manke (Jessica) of Columbia Heights, MN.; her great grandchildren, Mitchell Franks, Emma Franks of Branson, MO and Kailani Escobin of Forestburg, SD.; her brothers, Don Schwemle of Forestburg, SD and Dave Schwemle of Mitchell, SD.; her husband Clyde Manke; and her sister Clara Schmidt.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial contributions be made to Forestburg Lutheran Church.
