She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Wier and Erma Wier (Tillotson); her husband L. J. "Nick" Nickelson; her daughter DeAnn Brink; her grandson Kevin Brink; her brothers, George and Leslie Wier; and her son-in-law Dean Remington.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gloria Klaas (Gerald) of Woonsocket, SD, Pat Remington of Huron, SD and Michele Jankord (Randy) of Brandon, SD; and her sister Lenore Robertson of Mitchell, SD. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great- great-grandchildren.
