He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Jen Sandness (Gary) of Rapid City, SD, Amy Roni (James), Hogan Hook of Griswold, IA, Steve Shaylee (Amber), Tyler, Mya, Lane Sandness of Chester, SD, Anne Sandness, Darin, Madison, Michael, Ethan Schmiedt of Woonsocket, Joe Lola (Anna) and Luci Sandness of Rapid City, SD.; his siblings, Bill Sandness (Deanna), Evelyn Johnson, Mary Schabot (Randy) of Woonsocket, SD and David Hjelm (Connie) of Woonsocket, SD; and his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Sandness Sioux Falls and Agnes Goebel of Huron, SD. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
