She is survived by: her husband Donald Burkel of Woonsocket; her children, Danaee Marquette of Aurora, SD, Jona Hokanson (Mike Wanous) of Huron, SD, Mathew Burkel (Sarah) of Woonsocket, SD and Curtis Burkel of Woonsocket, SD.; and her sister Rolanda Larive of Huron, SD. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grand children.
