She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil, Sr. Misar and Hattie Misar (Schneider); her husband Harold Nelson; her siblings, Lawrence Misar and Shirley Nelson (Misar); her siblings-in-law, Roy Nelson, Don Pommerer and Wanda Misar (Harstad); and her nephew Darrell Misar.
She is survived by: her friend Kate Gunderson; her sons, Curtis (Molly) of Lenexa, KS, Randy Nelson and Ryan Nelson of Alpena; her granddaughter Emily Nelson of Lenexa, KS; and her siblings, Emil Misar, Jr. (Volga), Francis Misar (Estelline) and Joann Pommerer of Raytown, MO. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
