He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe C. Tatchio and Vada Tatchio (Duerr); his brothers, Clovis, Orrin, Wallace and Marvin; and his nephew Ted Tatchio.

He is survived by: his wife Mariel Tatchio; and his nieces and nephews, Valerie Allyn (Rich) of Depot Bay, OR, Marlene Tatchio of Floresville, TX, Rod Tatchio of Sherman, TX and Jeff Tatchio of Kern, Utah..
