It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sheila A. Hampton of Wolsey, South Dakota, who passed away on March 17, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Ahlstrom and Lila Ahlstrom (Harms); her husband Darrel Hampton; her brother Kelvin; her parents-in-law, Donald and Eunice Hampton; and her stepmother Carol Ahlstrom.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tracy Griffith (Charles) of Panora and Jessica Gatzke (David) of Volga, SD; her grandchildren, Hunter Hykes, Ian, Lylah Griffith, Colby, Kynslee, Ava and Boedy Gatzke; her sisters, Kathleen Hill of Casper, WY, Yvonne Hauger (Dennis) of Mission Hills, SD, Lynette Jungemann (Rod) of Wolsey and Vonita Gardner of Sioux Falls; and also, Jeanine Harms (Gene) of Sturgis, Rod Hampton (Linda) of Sturgis, Kevin Hampton (Lu) of Nisland, Kent Hampton (Vickie) of Huron, Kelley Hoffmann (Rhonda) of Axtell, NE and Annette Bailey (Steve) of Spearfish.
