With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lloyd R. Batien of Wolsey, South Dakota, born in Huron, South Dakota, who passed away on September 9, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Batien and Florence McMillan Batien; and his brothers, Roger Batien and Jerry Batien. He is survived by: his wife Sheryl; his son Richard of Sioux Falls, SD; his daughter-in-law Nicole; his grandson Nicholas; his daughter Mandi of Brookings, SD.; his brother Roland [Dee] of Gold Canyon; and his siblings-in-law, Susan Batien and Roger Duerksen. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Norma Law, sisters-in-law.
