It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Josephine Christopherson of Wolsey, South Dakota, who passed away on March 28, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Smith and Serena Smith (Avery); her husband Ross Christopherson; her siblings, Leigh, James, Sarah Brugger, Vera Miller, Verda Tomsha, Mildred Tschetter and Marjorie Traver; and her grandson Jason Peterson.

She is survived by: her children, Janet Meehan (William) of Lead, Rhonda Butts (Michael) of Mountain Home, AR, Becky Christopherson of Huron and Bradley Christopherson (Rusty) of Lennox. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandson and many nieces and nephews.
