Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Edith Blaseg of Wolsey, South Dakota, born in Highmore, South Dakota, who passed away at the age of 79, on October 27, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl H. Olson and Ellen A. Olson (Cherland); and her brother Carl. She is survived by: her husband Verlin Blaseg of Wolsey; her children, Robert Blaseg (Sherri) of Huron, Paul Blaseg of Wolsey and Roberta Ransom of Parker, SD; her grandchildren, Natashia and Brittany Wingert (Brandon) of Alexandria, SD; her great grandchildren, Hailey, Zachary Wingert, JoAnne and Emalyn Baer; her niece Shawn King (Lance) of Sioux Falls; her nephew Travis Olson (Lori) of Madison; and her aunt Alice Buchheim of Highmore. She is also survived by several cousins, great nieces and great nephews, along with a great-great niece and great-great nephew.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to LWML-St. John's Lutheran-Wolsey or the Avera Cancer Institute located in the Don & Carmen Meyer Center of Excellence in Aberdeen, SD.
