He was predeceased by: his parents, Emanuel Schnabel and Barbara Schnabel. He is survived by: his wife Marlene; his daughters, Teresa Drake (Bill) and Suzanne Nishizaki (Bryan); his grandchildren, Shelby (Gavin), Sharayah (Bence), Daniel (Hannah) and Kate (Tyson); and his great grandchildren, Micah, Genesis, Benjamin, Eliyanah and Ethan.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Operation Mobilization Catalytic Ministries which is part of Marvin's legacy led by his son-in law, Bill.
