She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Carter and Goldie Carter (Best); her brothers, Larry and Bob; and her grandson Jacob.

She is survived by: her husband Dick; and her children, Scott Kolousek (Amber), Laura Kolousek and Leah Richter (Jared). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and her friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Janet Kolousek memorial fund at American Bank and Trust.
