She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Hove and Iva Hove (Kinsman); her husband Donn Bassett; her grandson Joe Rondeau; her son-in-law Daniel Rice; her parents-in-law, Kenneth and Mable Bassett (Hustad); and her sister Lavina Harris (Bruce).
She is survived by: her children, Kurt Bassett (Susan) of Volga, SD, Rhonda Martenson (Doug) of Sisseton, SD, Scott Bassett (Cheryl) of Wilmot, SD and Todd Bassett (Cheryl) of Wilmot, SD; her brother Earl Hove (Mary) of Tracy, CO; and her siblings-in-law, Dean Bassett (Vera) of Rapid City, SD and Sue Dollinger (De Lane) of Venturia, ND. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
