It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shalyn Spider (Wilmot, South Dakota), born in Sisseton, South Dakota, who passed away on September 6, 2019, at the age of 35, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Albert Spider Sr., Melvin Robertson, Sr. and Doris LaFontaine; her uncle Gary Neilan; and her aunt Michelle LaFontaine.
She is survived by: her cousin Navy Buddies; her mother Jody LaFontaine; her grandmother JoAnn Spider; her siblings, Jade LaFontaine of Wilmot, SD, Brennen Block of Wilmot, SD and Kelsey Block of New Effington; her nieces and nephews, Rishawn Rios, Andre Rios, Julius Stutterheim, Kaiden German, Kaia German and Kysa Block; and her aunt Betty Neilan. She is also survived by uncles, aunts, and cousins.
