She was predeceased by: her parents, Claud Hicks and Lillian Hicks (Lauritsen); her husband Fred Maxwell; her parents-in-law, Fred and Carla Maxwell; her sisters, Catherine (Ronald Hensley) and Mavis (Gordan Webster); and her stepgrandson Derrick Dalton.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Maxwell (Jeaninne) of Aberdeen, SD, Jeffery Maxwell (Carol) of Watertown, SD and Judy Schmitt (Greg) of Wilmot, SD; her godson Lonny Ammann (Patricia); her close friends, Amy Longhenry (Wayne) of Bellingham, MN and Paula Minnala; and also Dede of Wilmot, SD.. She is also survived by four grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; six step great-grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren; two step great great-grandchildren.
