She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Crooks and Opal Crooks (Eck); her husband Merle Pond of Peever, SD; and her siblings, Arlene Keddy, Roy and Clinton Crooks.

She is survived by: her sons, Carman Pond of Milbank, SD, Westen Pond (Vicki) of Wilmot, SD and Clifton "Kip" Pond (Jodi) of Rosemount, MN; and her siblings, Roger Crooks (Judy) of Sisseton, SD, Gary Crooks of Wilmot, SD, Barbara Ahern of Oregon, Marilyn Niles of Wisconsin and Carolyn Gwynn of California. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.

Masks and social distancing are recommended.
