It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerone Whirledge of Willow Lake, South Dakota, born in Huron, South Dakota, who passed away on October 28, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Korkow and Carol Korkow (Kretzschmar); her daughter Teresa; her grandson Cody; her brother Gerald; and her parents-in-law, Ted and Mabel Whirledge.
She is survived by: her husband Roger Whirledge of Willow Lake; her daughters, Brenda Verdon (Jeff) of Willow Lake and Kristi Guerdet (Kevin) of Willow Lake; her grandchildren, Dustin (Mackenzie), Mike Guerdet (Shelby) and Samantha Verdon; her great grandchildren, Chyanne, Bodhi, Braelynn, Kameron, Teresa, Aimee, Catherine and Kella; her sisters, Judy Ronning of Watertown and Becky Brown (Bob) of Sioux Falls; and her in-laws, Harold (Evelyn) and Larry Whirledge (Jo). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
