He is survived by: his former wife Kandy Armstrong; his wife Corinne Trewatha; his brother Darryl Nelson of Brookings; his children, Nathan Nelson (Chelsea) of Sioux Falls, Kara Cox (Ben) of Brookings and Miranda Anderson (Patrick) of Brookings; his stepdaughter Michelle Scott of South Shore; and his granddaughter Kacie Anderson of Brookings.
