With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlotte Marlene Gibbons of White, South Dakota, born in Rapid City, South Dakota, who passed away on October 31, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Hugh Strain and Florence Pearl Strain (Leach); her husband Floyd Gibbons; her brother Roger Strain; and her sisters-in-law, Delores Strain and Annette Strain.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Porter (Terry), David Gibbons (Lisa DeLeon), Violet Gibbons, Glen Gibbons (Sonia Garrett), Christopher Gibbons, Ruth Steele and Michelle Twiss; and her siblings, Roy Strain of Japan, Ray Strain of Custer, SD, Barbara Strain of Rapid City, SD and Jimmy Jurrens of Alaska. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
