It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Richard Meier of White Lake, South Dakota, who passed away at the age of 92, on July 23, 2024. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred F. Meier and Maude Meier (Maurer); his wife Bertha Glayn Hemeyer; and his siblings, Ralph Meier, Ted Meier, Frederick Meier, Billy Meier, Loretta Glissendorf and Florence Tingle.
He is survived by: his children, Glenn Meier (Pat) of Prince Frederick, MD, Miriam Dexter (Steve) of Cypress, TX and Alan Meier (Lori) of Sioux Falls, SD; his grandchildren, Gregory Meier, Christopher Meier, Julie Spalding, Sarah Lauricio, Rachel Woolsey, Adrienne Mann, Alexander Meier, Allison Meier and Sophia Meier; and his sisters-in-law, Florence Meier and Arlene Hanten. He is also survived by four great-grandsons, nieces and nephews.
