She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Edwards and Retta Edwards (Bissell); her husbands, Ralph Meier and Anthony Hanten; her siblings, Lyle Edwards (Faye), Marion Edwards and Geraldine Edwards; and her siblings-in-law, Oliver Hanten (Lorraine), Richard Meier (Glayne), Ted Meier (Florence), Loretta Glissendorf, Susan Kerrick and Loyola Myers.
She is survived by: her children, Dave Meier (Jacque) of Camp Verde, AZ, Ralph Meier (Colett) of Chino Valley, AZ, Ron Hanten (Deb) of Gillette, WY, Joe Hanten (Paulena) of White Lake, SD, Barb Struwe (Gregg) of Watertown, SD and Connie Barry (Gene) of Canby, MN; her sister Lois Evers (Jim); and her siblings-in-law, Mike Kerrick and Florence Meier. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Prayer Service St. Peter's Catholic Church (101 S Ellis St, White Lake, SD 57383). A prayer was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (101 S Ellis St, White Lake, SD 57383). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
