He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Wells and Cecelia Wells (Anderson); his former wife Joyce Shirley; his sons, Mike and John; his granddaughter Amy Sue; his brothers, John (Dakota) and George (Clarice); and his nephew Roy Wells.
He is survived by: his wife Eva Lou; his children, Dave (Karla), Doug (Tina), Frank (Pam) of Mitchell and Teresa Deurmier (Doug) of Mitchell; his stepchildren, Lynn, Tom (Diane) of Plankinton and Amy of White; and his daughter-in-law Deb Wells of Sioux Falls. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
