She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Horsley and Ettie Eldora Horsley (Manor); her husband Henry Van Asperen (Hank); and her siblings, Melvin, Keith Horsley, Lula Wedge, Alma Plate, Ruth Thomas, Tressie Beck, Bertha Stiner and Mary Horsley.
She is survived by: her children, Craig Van Asperen (Cheryl), David Van Asperen (Kimery), Debra Alexander (Scott) and Vicki Diekhoff (Kirk); her grandchildren, Hilary Rossow (Brian), Camron Van Asperen, Becky Krueger (Mike), Brian Bell (Julie), Ryan Bell (Alisha), Kelly Dugan (Phillip), Tyler Van Asperen, Whitney Tapken, Megan Huizenga (Brian), Daniel Alexander, Brett Alexander (Tyann), Laurel Diekhoff and Aaron Diekhoff; her siblings, Wayne Horsley (Joan) of Wessington and Sharon Menning of Farwell; and her brother-in-law Rennald Stiner of Sioux Falls. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
